If you are a fan of comfort foods in a laid-back "Cheers" type atmosphere (lots of regulars), this is the place for you. Lots of homemade recipes (the chicken is the best you have ever tasted, I guarantee it!), large menu and decent prices. The staff are friendly and the service is very efficient. Nothing fancy on the outside, but lots of good eating on the inside!

Neighboring Towns

Neighboring towns that offer a variety of activities, beaches and shopping and relaxation.
Cocoa Beach in Florida has no skyscrapers, no traffic-clogged roads, and no hustle and bustle. Here, the pleasures come almost entirely from Mother Nature, who is kind enough to bestow this area with soft sub-tropical breezes, soothing waves on a beautiful beach, nesting sea turtles, and incredible sunrises and sunsets. Not to say that there aren't a few manmade sightseeing opportunities here, though: scratch the surface and you'll find evidence of the early pioneers, along with a variety of modern attractions for all ages to enjoy. Cocoa Beach is a place to relieve the stresses of modern-day life, to unwind and savor its cultural, historical, technological, and culinary surprises. You can take a cruise, see where modern pioneers fly into the heavens (and experience some of the same in-flight sensations they do), peer into the galaxies, visit a historic pioneer village, get up-close-and-personal with the local wildlife, and tee off at some of the greatest golf clubs in Florida. Whatever your preference, you'll see there's no end of fun places to visit in Cocoa Beach.

Daytona Beach boasts the world-famous 23-mile long stretch of white sandy beach that allows vehicle driving during daylight hours, and offers nearly every water sport imaginable as well as a lively boardwalk. Situated near the middle of the peninsula, the beach is famous for its large crowds, bustling pier and hard-packed sand. In fact, it's thanks to the sand's firm composition that drivers are allowed to park their cars right on the beach. There is also a mile-long pedestrian-only zone that surrounds the pier. Beyond the pier you'll also find a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is open 24 hours a day to pedestrians, but driving hours are limited to sunrise to sunset (permitting tidal conditions) between Nov. 1 and April 30, and between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. May 1 through Oct. 31. Access to the beach is free, but it is $20 per day to drive on the beach from Feb. 1 through Nov. 30. The speed limit on the beach is 10 mph. Pedestrians and drivers should also be mindful of nesting sea turtles from May to October, who typically nest in marked dune areas.

The American Police Hall of Fame & Museum is located at 6350 Horizon Drive just south of Titusville, Florida, adjacent to the Astronaut Hall of Fame. It houses law enforcement exhibits, a memorial and a Hall of Fame. It is the nation's first national police museum and a memorial dedicated to law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. The museum was founded in 1960 in North Port, Florida by Gerald Arenberg, a police officer injured in the line of duty by a drunk driver in 1955. It was his dream to build a memorial to honor all law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, those that paid the ultimate sacrifice to keep the peace, to protect, and to serve. The museum was moved from North Port to the former FBI building in Miami, Florida in 1990. This building had 3 floors, housing the museum on the first 2 floors and the administration offices on the 3rd floor. By 2000 this facility became too small to house the growing number of exhibits, as well as the growing number of names in the memorial. In 2001, building began on the museum in Titusville. This facility opened in May, 2003.

Want to visit a Titusville Landmark? I got you covered! This historic Queen Anne style home, built in 1891, by Capt. James Pritchard, has become one of the most impressive landmarks of Titusville. It was occupied by successive generations of the Pritchard family until 2003, when it was purchased by Brevard County and restored in cooperation with the North Brevard Heritage Foundation. It is now operated as a house museum complete with period furniture, much of it donated by Titusville residents. Capt. Pritchard was an entrepreneur and civic leader who was responsible in large measure for the development of the City of Titusville. He was the first to establish a bank and operated the city’s first electric generating plant. This residence features a corner tower with a conical roof, a wrap-around porch, veranda, and second floor balcony. It is surrounded by gardens sponsored by descendants of early families who settled in Titusville and North Brevard County with plaques that record family histories and stories of the area’s development.
