At the spacious Finger Lakes Welcome Center, located within view of Seneca Lake, these themes are on full display. Here, you can take a break from traveling and try local specialties while grabbing a bite at the Taste NY Market, which offers hot and cold lunch options and a kids’ menu made from fresh ingredients sourced from farms and businesses within the Finger Lakes region. There’s also a wine bar selling wine, beer, and cider from Finger Lakes and New York State producers. Outside, a playground featuring grape vines for climbing and a model paddle wheel boat will allow the kids to burn off some energy, while adults can relax on a deck overlooking the lake. Additional amenities include rest rooms, ATM, vending machines, and a community meeting room. Farmers market is open next to the center during summer and fall season every Saturday.

Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion State Historic Park is a 50-acre state park located at 151 Charlotte Street in Canandaigua, New York, at the north end of Canandaigua Lake, in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. The house and gardens are open to the public every day, May through October.

The house and gardens are open to the public every day, May through October.
The Corning Museum of Glass is a museum in Corning, New York, dedicated to the art, history and science of glass. It was founded in 1951 by Corning Glass Works and currently has a collection of more than 50,000 glass objects, some over 3,500 years old.

In 2015, the National Civic League chose Geneva as one of ten cities from across the country to receive its annual All-America City Award. In June 2017, it was announced Geneva would receive $10 million from New York (state) as part of a downtown revitalization initiative as well as an additional $5 million for a welcome center.

Put Muranda high on your list of places to visit...like top 5. You will not be disappointed. We were recommended to visit and we were so glad we did not miss...the drive to Muranda is beautiful in and of itself. The property is warma nd welcoming but the barn...the barn is absolutely gorgeous. Built in 1861 it is something indeed to see and stand within.
