Beautiful park with ponds, prairie and whisper pine woods. Great to take children to or to spend the day wandering from the different areas. Only 10 miles from our house and a great place to spend the day.

This park will connect you with a bike path to ride out to Rock Springs Conservation Center and then on to Forsyth Park if you'd like to head out the opposite direction.
Visit this park right on the lake. Rent a boat or canoe and take in the scenic views . Travel north on the lake and visit some quiet coves for swimming.
The Beach House is a great location to grab a bite to eat while watching the sunset.

This is a nice zoo for small children. Catch the train, pet the farm animals and visit the penguins. Located right next to the Children's Museum where kids will have a great time. Make a day of it.
