Outriggers is one of the best restaurants with a variety of upscale appetizers and entrees. Excellent service, outdoor seating with entertainment, comfortable ambiance and of course the food is awesome!

Atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. Another "must visit" in New Smyrna Beach side. just about 2.5 miles south from The Seaside Retreat.

Another favorite of ours, to include in our top 3! The food is outstanding, Freshly squeezed juices, stuffed mushroom apps, home made zucchini bread, seafood that melts in your mouth! The ambiance is relaxing and Happy Hour is a great way to start the evening.

Beach/park
less than 400 ft from the door at the Seaside Retreat, small children enjoy the playground and beach and big kids have a blast at the beach, and take advantage of raquet ball and the basketball court. Showers and changing rooms are available, the park is also a nice place to sit and have your morning coffee and watch the sun rise over the ocean. The entrance offers ramp on access to the beach where you can choose to drive on the beach to the left or no drive to the right. Parking at the park is 20.00 a day, but no need to pay the parking fees, you will be staying right across the street, hop skip and a jump and you are there. The recent hurricanes have changed this area a bit, they are rebuilding and getting it ready to be full accessible soon.
