Delicious burgers and homemade chips. My teen loved a hamburger on donut buns! Most tourists have never been - a hidden local gem.

Near by. You can grab a coffee and look at the cats. Or, for a donation, spend an hour with these cats that need a home. A good cause. Adopt a cat - but pick them up on the way home - sorry, no cats allowed.

My Disney Notes

I love this area of Florida and have been going for years and in that time I have studied how to do things for free or cheap! Here is some of the information I found: Every night there are fireworks at Disney. You can drive and find places to park and see them like near the Polynesian Hotel at Park Plaza. You can also park at Disney Springs and take a bus to the Magic Kingdom resorts like the Polynesian or Grand Florian and see the fireworks. I've also watched the Epcot fireworks by taking a bus right to the park. You can see them from the new gondolas in the air which also act as a "ride"

Getting into parks early

One way to get into Disney parks early is to book a breakfast. You can eat with characters and then you are there first!

Free and cheap rides

Park at Disney Springs there are some rides there. If you have little children,, they are just as happy with these than paying for park entries. a small fee for the carousel and train. Take a bus to Magic Kingdom - at night you can see the floating light parade. The ride is the monorail.. My kids also like the free boat rides which you can take to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and parks to resorts. At the holidays, Grand Floridian has Mickey and Minnie & gingerbread house. you can find lots of advice on youtube and Internet about Disney freebies.

365 Days of Entertainment

I left some guidebooks but I read it would take 365 days to do all the Orlando has to offer. Some of my favorites -Taverna Opa Greek Restaurant (very loud but fun Greek dancing and yummy food), Tapa Toro - Spain restaurant with Flamenco dancing and paella made in front of you, ICON has lots to do and a train running around and bouncy house things for kids and thrill rides for the daring (not me!)
