Watkins Glen State Park—The Gorge Trail takes you past 19 waterfalls. The park offers other trails as well—download the free trail map from avenzamaps.com. Tip #1: Walking there will take you 10 minutes from our house, saving you from traffic hassles and parking fees! Tip #2: If you want a less vigorous hike, take the seasonal shuttle bus to the Upper Entrance to the park, and walk downhill all the way. Don't forget to turn around and see the waterfalls!

The rolling green pastures of Farm Sanctuary’s 275-acre shelter are home to more than 600 rescued cows, pigs, turkeys, and other farm animals — and each has a special story of survival.
You can take an hour-long tour of the shelter with a tour guide, meeting the rescued residents along the way. You can also visit the Sanctuary Shop, which contains literature, cookbooks, apparel, and other souvenirs.
