Great museum with interesting exhibitions, usually contemporary art and ticketed entrance. It is situated along Southbank (just a bus ride away: 168/ 172), here you can always find things going on from food markets, street performers, cafes, restaurants and bars. You can also spot many landmarks along this walk, including Big Ben and the London Eye.
Interesting exhibitions - usually they choose a theme and several artists are invited to create works based on the theme, makes for surprising/fascinating/thoughtful exhibit.
The Hayward Gallery is an art gallery within the Southbank Centre in central London, England and part of an area of major arts venues on the South Bank of the River Thames. It is sited adjacent to the other Southbank Centre buildings and also the National Theatre and BFI Southbank repertory cinema.
