A leisurely walk to the tower on sealed path. The final 100 metre gradient is quite steep, however, can be managed if normal walking is ok. The 360 degree view is quite spectacular.
10 minute walk to the top, it’s a steep walk but the views are worth it! If you keep going you can walk the whole mountain trail. The tower is sometimes open at the top but if it isn’t there is still a great viewing platform.
This overlooks the Valley Lake. Enjoy the free wildlife Conservatrion Park, with koalas and kangaroos. Children will the the Adventure Playground. Free barbecues available. Bring a picnic, feed the ducks, and discover Brownes Lake. This was the site of Moun t Gambier's original botanic gardens and the area is picturesque all year round, but especially in autumn. Drive to the carpark then walk to Centenary Tower. The magnificent view is worth the short, steep walk from the carpark to the highest point in the area. Centenary Tower. Take a great photo of the Valley Lake and View other volcanic craters.
