If you're looking to do something different than visit theme parks, the science center is pretty extensive with dinosaur and space exhibits!

Check out the incredible Orlando Science Center and enjoy mind-expanding displays and exhibits. Attend a show at their CineDome, whose fish-eye lens projector projects onto an 8,000 square-foot screen, creating a 180-degree image that surrounds the audience and extends beyond their peripheral vision. Films cover nature, geography, history and more.

I have not visited this location, but it looks like a great place to visit. Orlando Science Center is about 25 miles from Emerald Island Resort.
