Bayeux is a town on the Aure river in the Normandy region of northwestern France, 10 kilometers from the Channel coast. Charming historic cathedral town with lots of nice cafes, bars and restaurants as well as of course the famous tapestry. If you don’t fancy driving there - the train from local station Lison takes 10 minutes.
