Possibly London's biggest bookstore. A pleasant way to waste a few hours. Staff are nice, but not super knowledgeable - they get moved around between areas, and nobody can know about that many books! But they'll look things up for you. Students get a discount. Nearby Charing Cross Road is full of new and secondhand book shops.

One of the oldest bookshops in London and my favourite. Foyles was once listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest bookshop in terms of shelf area.
