Our experience starts in Florence Santa Maria Novella Central Station where you will meet and we will help you buy the train tickets to San Miniato. The train ride to San Miniato will take 40 minutes. Upon arrival, we'll walk around the estate so you can see our vineyard and olive grown. We'll visit the gardens to gather ingredients for our lunch, which we'll prepare together. You'll find out how traditional Tuscan cuisine is simple, fresh, and delicious. Depending on the season, we might pick grapes, olives, wild asparagus, wild herbs, or even hunt for prized white truffles in autumn. During lunch we will taste our red and rosé wine together with our extra virgin cold pressed olive oil. After lunch you're welcome to kick back in the garden, take a swim in our 20 meters infinity pool filled with salted water (the pool is open form May to September), or stroll up to see a remote little church. My family, my dog, Billo ,and I will guide you in truffle hunting in our beautiful woods in Chianti. Truffle hunting is an ancient tradition in Tuscany, and has only one rule—respect nature. For this reason, it will be necessary to conduct a small briefing before going into the woods, a sacred place for truffle hunters. During the hunt, I will tell you about the truffle, the magic of its traditions, its history, mythology, and uses in the kitchen. You will learn how to recognize and distinguish a good truffle from other fake "truffles" of inferior quality. After the hunt, we will return home for a scheduled lunch or dinner, based on fresh, real truffles and served with our own wine and extra virgin olive oil. We will show you how to clean truffles and prepare typical truffle recipes, such as crostini al tartufo, tagliatelle al tartufo, and more.

I will meet you at one of Florence’s colourful markets and will guide you through it, teaching you how to select the best quality ingredients and pick the freshest vegetables, meats, cheeses & fruits. We will have fun sampling Parmigiano, Prosciutto, Extra Virgin Live Oil, Balsamic Vinegar and much more! Then in the kitchen I will demonstrate how to prepare the dishes but you will have the opportunity to be hands on with everything. If you are looking for an out of the binaries experience to do something new and special, you are in the right place! I will be happy to make you experience the day-life of an artisan, bringing you inside a pottery factory and then discovering the feel of clay manipulating. We first will meet in my shop in Montelupo Fiorentino, opened for 20 years in a historical village known all over the world for its ceramic production. Montelupo is situated precisely in the middle of Pisa and Florence so it is easily reachable by train or by car in about a half-hour from both sides. It is a beautiful village and I hope you will love it as I do! From the shop we will go together to the factory where I will show you the cycle of production of Italian handmade pottery, telling you the history behind and explaining all the techniques. If you want, there is also the possibility to design and purchase something new that will be custom made for you by our artisans! After the factory, it will be your turn! We will go back to the shop where my father will be happy to teach you how to make your pottery piece. Don't worry if you never used a wheel, the course is funny and satisfying for everyone! And as icing on the cake your creation will be fired and shipped to your house, to have a tangible memory of the experience but above all to have a piece of Tuscany at home! My guests will enjoy one of the best views of the hillside in Cinque Terre, enjoy local specialties and listen to my Bach played live on the piano. The focus of this year, 2023, will be J. S. Bach's Goldberg Variations and Six Partitas. I will welcome my guests into my property, inside the Cinque Terre National Park, where they will visit a young vineyard, learn about the building techniques of the old dry stone walls that are peculiar to this area and hear some historical background of what makes our area so unique. Afterwards, they will enjoy a full dinner, a selection of wines and my homemade lemon liqueurs while enjoying classical piano music played live. I provide transportation for a maximum of 10 guests per session, from Riomaggiore and back, at my expense. The whole event will take place outdoors, on my terrace above the vines. If the weather does not allow for an enjoyable outdoor setting the event will be cancelled and our guests entirely reimbursed. We'll meet in a small pastry café, not so well known in the city, but where you can taste the best croissants in Florence! You will be my guests for a welcome breakfast! Then we reach my small creative workshop (2 minutes walk) where I'll teach you, step by step, how to create a jewel using the technique of cuttlebone casting. This ancient technique, already known by the Egyptians more than 2000 years ago, is one of my favourites and it's easy to learn. The cuttlefish bone is easy to carve to make a mold that will be filled with melted silver. After my instuctions it will be your turn to project and carve the bone into the shape of your own jewel. You will make your personalized pendant or ring, choosing from the proposed models or creating a new one. I will help you individually to achieve the best result, and, in the mold just carved, I will pour the molten silver so you can immediately see your rough jewel which, once polished, will certainly be your best memory of Florence! After the "hard" work will be my pleasure to invite you in a library coffee bar with a beautiful secret garden to chill with a glass of wine, prosecco or a soft drink... …the best way to end a great experience! The jewel you will create still needs some work to be finished. It will be ready to take away in the late afternoon or the following morning. No special knowledge or skills are required.

The pasta will be mixed and cooked together with that of the others, it will not be possible to make an individual cooking. Of course we will eat them together in a long table as in an Italian family. During lunch will be served our wine. One of our co-host make sure that you can be the protagonist! Cinque Terre is one among the “must visit” location in Italy and this tour will help you to discover it at its best. It is one of the most famous UNESCO places and it’s known for its uniqueness and variety of colors and territory. It has been said that its National Park has sights that would put a postcard to shame. You will depart from Florence, in a private comfortable car driven by an English speaking guide and drive to Cinque Terre. We will first arrive in Manarola, the smaller town in Cinque Terre, but absolutely beautiful and extremely picturesque. After visiting this little town we will take a boat (or train, if weather conditions do not permit boat) to Vernazza, the Cinque Terre jewel, where you will be blown away by the magical atmosphere and breathtaking views. Here you will experience lunch at a local restaurant, giving you the opportunity to taste traditional cuisine, such as pasta al pesto and tastes of local fish. Then we’ll move on to Monterosso, with its beautiful and relaxing beaches, typical shops, and historic appeal, where you will have the chance to experience some free time, while taking a bath or shopping in the typical “botteghe” of the village. Discover the best parts of Tuscany on your very own Vespa. We will start at 4:00 PM from Florence, (please be at the shop 3.30 PM) where you will be driving by van to the winery. That way you don't have to worry about navigating the crazy Italian traffic! Once in the countryside, you will have time to try the Vespa and make sure that you are safe on the road before heading out. From the winery, we will ride zip through the Tuscan hills by Vespa and stop along the way for breathtaking views and photo ops. The Vespa ride will be followed by a Tuscan-style wine tasting at the family-run winery. After the wine tasting you will be transported back to Florence by van. First driving than drinking!
