The Mill is a truly unique place to stay in Askerswell, which is situated in the Dorset countryside off the beaten track but just a 10 minute drive to the nearest beach at West Bay and the market town of Bridport. The Mill is a watermill (not a windmill) which has been beautifully restored to enable guests to stay and is completely safe for children with viewing areas. The watermill is still working and can be turned on upon request. There is a large shared garden teaming with wildlife.

Peaceful (with occasional bantam accompaniment!) and opposite the smallest church in the Bride Valley. Chilcombe Hill boasts panoramic views of the nearby Jurassic Coast.

It is a very comfortable place to stay with country cottage kitchen, woodburner and with wooden beams throughout. The shared garden with The Mill is large and is perfect for children to explore with pond and play area. They can really get enjoy and get close to nature here.
