The Barn Swallows NestThe Barn Swallows Nest is a private room in an old Karoo barn in Calitzdorp. It is just 3km from town and the R62 on the Groenfontein rd also known as the Art Route. The room which has its own private entrance has an en suite bathroom, Although not self catering it has various teas, coffee, a small fridge and fresh filtered water. There is a front stoep which gets the morning sun and a back stoep which has a beautiful view and sunset where you can also do fantastic star gazing.
Lenies Hof studio 1Lenies Hof is a small organic farm with a vineyard, olive and apricot orchards. The contemporary furnished studio for 2 is a perfect hide-away when traveling Route 62. Mo is the founder & baker at The Accidental Baker; a sourdough bread bakery situated on the farm with a terrace overlooking the valley and the Swartberg mountains. Lenies Hof is a perfect home-base for exploring the succulent fields. Or, just enjoy the amazing Klein Karoo starry nights with a glass of our wine on the terrace.
River View CottagesThe 3 River View Cottages overlook a sweeping bend in the Gamka River. The cottages are situated on The River Farm near Calitzdorp in the heart of a World Biodiversity Hotspot in the Little Karoo. Each cottage can accommodate a couple.

Prashanti - place of peace - is our beautifully styled home where Frida Kahlo meets India in the Klein Karoo. The house sleeps 5 or 6 people in the 2 en suite bedrooms with double beds, an Indian day bed suitable for a child & a sleeper couch in the spacious lounge area. For those larger parties, a separate adjoining accommodation for 2 can be provided in our tranquil Rose Cottage. Delicious breakfast baskets with homemade sourdough bread are available on request with a days notice.

We are in Calitzdorp in the Western Cape, South Africa on the famous Route 62 which offers a scenic alternative when traveling from Cape Town to the Garden Route . We offer self-catering accommodation . Our Garden Cottage provides a queen size bed, en-suite and kitchenette with private or communal braai facilities. Charcoal and fire lighters provided at an additional cost or bring your own. There is undercover parking on site.

Die Stoep is a large rambling family home - buildt around 1860. The veranda ( stoep ) wraps around half of the house and is the perfect place to sit and watch Karoo life slowly pass you by. There is an open fireplace in the lounge and another in the kitchen. The courtyard is a great entertainment area with undercover braai , seating and a fire pit. The splash pool is the place to be on a hot summers day.
