Tarilta is a one-bedroom cottage with lovely views over the surrounding forest. Situated in the most desirable part of Hepburn Springs and at end of a long private driveway through the lightly forested sloping 1-acre site (with two other small cottages at the front end of the site) that backs onto and has direct access to the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve, the cottage provides a relaxing and peaceful getaway. The kitchenette contains all the essentials if you want to prepare your own meals, but the Daylesford/Hepburn Springs area has a well-deserved reputation for outstanding cafes and restaurants. The Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa complex in the neighbouring Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve is a short walk down the road and offers a range of hot mineral water bathing and pampering spa treatments. There are also very many day spas within walking distance in Hepburn Springs village or a short drive to the neighbouring town of Daylesford. Tarilta Cottage is part of Daylesford Country Cottages. We are situated at the end of the lane on 70 acres. We have cattle and mobs of kangaroos can be seen wandering around in the early morning and evening. You will have beautiful views of the sunrise and the milky way on clear nights. We are located between Daylesford and Kyneton, a 20 minute drive to either.
