From there we travel South further to Las Olas and the New River where you can see down town and some of the most expensive homes in the City of Fort Lauderdale. We will begin paddling through a popular historic area in Downtown Fort Lauderdale called the Venice River. We will enjoy there a unique sunset view that the nature offers. I will pick you up from the Hollywood Marina and we will begin the tour going south to the famous haulover area. We will cruise through Golden Beach where you will enjoy the best views of multimillion dollar mansions and the most private piece of land in Miami. We ll continue our tour through the bay where you ll see Sunny Isles like never before. Private islands will be on our way and the Sunny Isles skyline with Porsche, Armani and Ritz Carlton towers. We ll reach the famous haulover area and you ll see the famous Bal Harbor. Depending on traffic we ll have few minutes to make pictures on the most unique piece of inland waters in Miami. How would you like to learn to play the "Congas in just 15 minutes"? I'm excited to share this new approach to learning for almost anyone of any age. Known as "Tumbao", "Marcha" or "Rhythm Pattern", you can learn to play this basic Conga pattern used in most popular music today in just 15 minutes. In this two-hour audience participation show, I take you through the history of how the Conga drums have influenced American Music (8 minutes), followed by the "15 minute Conga" lesson, and 60 to 70 minute audience play along to rhythms such as Jazz, Rock, Latin, Soul, Funk, R&B and Pop. We end the lesson with "Oh When The Saints Come Marching In". During the show, I'll also play several Conga Rhythyms from my recently published book to hopefully enlighten the audience to the history of this instrument. Participants will take home a printed copy free of charge of the music they just learned, to practice at home. No experience needed. This tour will take you through the finest new beer experiences (Breweries and Tap Rooms) that Fort Lauderdale has to offer. Our adventure will take us through Flagler Village, a once an industrial warehouse district, reborn as a center of urban renewal which is now home to dozens of art galleries and studios. During our tour, we will provide you with an opportunity to sample beers, while learning about the rich history of Fort Lauderdale. We will learn about the pioneers who planned and built this city, as well as its continued growth. While at each location, staff members (when available) will take us through a tour of the facility and provide a hands-on educational experience and storytelling about both the location and the libations. Most importantly, there will be beer. Our tour includes three beers, one at each location , you may purchase additional beverages should you be thirsty.
