Our place is a comfortable loft on the second floor of a historic building in downtown Story City. It is a sweet little town to relax in that is an easy 15-minute drive to Ames and all its amenities. The loft has a living room with a fold-out couch that sleeps two, a smart TV, and a dining area that makes a great gathering space for families. The bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed with an exposed brick wall. Also a dedicated office space perfect for long-term term stays for professionals.

You can sit outside and relax on the small deck, or come down and enjoy a fire in the fire pit. Centrally located, just a short distance from the 6 mile Boone River Recreational trail, and one block from the 2 mile Brewer Creek trail. The Fuller Hall Rec Center, library, and Community Theater are are all 1/2 mile away. The hospital is just a mile from the apartment

Coin operated laundry, elevator, semi secured building, on-site management 8-5, M-F and video surveillance in common areas are just some of the practical things that make this place special! The city does not allow overnight parking on downtown streets, but there are two free well lit municipal lots each about a block from our building.
