Built in the 18th century as the village school, this quaint cottage near Ullswater has many original features and provides warm cosy accommodation, perfect for couples. The enclosed garden is perfect for pets. The village of Dacre is steeped in history, not forgetting the tavern next door.

Lake District flat with great mountain views

Bright and cheerful ensuite studio flat on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Great views of Helvellyn and High Street. Lake District hikes, cycling or sightseeing within a few minutes. There is a small well equipped kitchen with hob, fridge and microwave for preparing light meals. The local pub is a 10 minute walk and serves excellent food with 2 other good food pubs just down the road. Guests are welcome to share use of our BBQ corner with fabulous view of the mountains.
