House in the country - The Retro House

Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house is so cosy, it deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. Besides we do like offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget. Time does not stand still in the Retro House as its theme develops along the way.

Our Studfarm Gadebjerg is overlooking fields and forest. Here you are close to nature, with the opportunity to fish or hike. Here are 300 meters to the Himmerlandsstien, 2 km to Skals (Village of the Year 2021). The home is a one bedroom apartment with bath, kitchen and dining area, spacious bathroom. A bright room with two beds and a dining area/desk. It is possible to use the garden and terrace by the pavilion, located behind the farmhouse. Free parking and free wifi are available.

Anneks med dejlig udsigt til mark. Her i dejlige Himmerland er der ikke langt til Aalborg og Viborg. Vi er meget tæt på en af landets fineste golfbaner på Gatten Golfcenter. Men der er også muligheder for fine golfoplevelser i Lynderup, Hvalpsund og Volstrup. Også lystfiskere har gode muligheder i vores område, hvor Lerkenfelt Å ligger i baghaven og Simested Å kun få kilometer herfra. Vores gildesal /lejlighed kan rumme et selskab på 40 personer eller en familie op til 4 personer.
