A wonderful summer and winter retreat. There are no roads or shops on Kawau so this is truly a place to get away from it all to relax or explore. The house is perched behind a pohutukawa tree in a quiet and peaceful location right on the waterfront. It is very comfortable, with 3 bedrooms sleeping max 6 and has full whiteware and entertainment amenities. No wifi but very good cellular coverage. Upon booking a full information booklet is supplied regarding getting to Kawau and use of the house.

Our house is in a very private setting nestled in the bush but handy being only 5 mins walk up the hill from the main Schoolhouse Bay wharf. We are half an hours walk away from the Historic & beautiful Mansion House .
