Garn-y-Skirrid is a newly built, eco-friendly cabin for 1 or 2 people plus a extra folding bed, if needed, with shower room and well equipped kitchenette. Formerly Garn-y-Skirrid Bunkhouse but now with beds. On the edge of the Brecon Beacons, just 3 miles from Abergavenny, it has outstanding views and is ideal for enjoying all the outdoor opportunities: walking, cycling, wild swimming etc. A warm welcome is extended to all guests by the owners, Tom and Marjorie, who live next door.

We are a working dairy goat farm, milking 600 goats twice a day. Our milk goes into a delicious soft goats cheese, which is made in the neighbouring town of Abergavenny and sold through many of the large supermarkets. We are ideally situated for cycling and walking, with many footpaths nearby, including Offa's Dyke and a fabulous range of mountains. We are within 2 miles of the renowned Michelin star Walnut Tree Inn and there are many other wonderful country pubs in the locality.

We are 3.2 miles from the wonderful market town of Abergavenny, gateway to the Beacons National Park. We have amazing views of Skirrid Mountain and countryside. You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.
