Gerrish Twp Marina is our preferred boat launch just 1 mile from the cabin. They have nice rest room facilities, a park with horse shoes & a swimming area. You can also rent a spot on the dock to dock your boat for a weekend. Call ahead to secure the spot.

A small par 3 golf course that's great for beginners and young ones. They also have a driving range. This is right down the road from the cottage, we'll drive our golf cart down there and use it on the course.

Bringing your Side by side, Quads, or Snowmobiles up north? Ride from the cottage to the trailhead or trailer and park! You will have to cross the bridge over 127. If that makes you uncomfortable then trailer there. We've crossed in both SXS and snowmobiles many times.

Polar Parlor has great pizza and ice cream! They also have burgers and other popular menu items. There are 3 ice cream places within a mile of each other but we like Polar Parlor the best! A short walk or bike ride from the cabin to burn off those calories.

Shakers is our favorite breakfast spot! Ask for the #2 special that is not on the menu. We've also enjoyed lunch and dinner there, but breakfast is where they shine for us!
