This is a great place to launch your boat into Higgins! It can get very busy, but the DNR conducts traffic well. There is a washing station on your way in and out so you can minimize spread of water critters. You can keep your boat in the basin overnight if you feel comfortable with that, and if there is room.

Large, sandy beach area with huge sandbar. Camping available and store on the beach with some quick bites and changing areas/bathrooms.
