CAMRA pub of the year for Scotland and Northern Ireland - this unpretentious and traditional 'local' pub is a real favourite of the residents of Stockbridge and beyond! They serve delicious cask and keg beers from around the country, with a beer menu that changes daily. The food is also incredible, in particular the beef brisket and saurkraut burger with triple cooked chips! Although, bear in mind the kitchen is usually closed on Sunday evenings, Mondays and Tuesdays as there is only one chef!

Well worth the walk for the view over Edinburgh. There is a road that takes you around the hill. It's about 3 miles in total. If you walk around the road you will get to Dunsapie Loch, about half way around. The easiest approach to the top of Arthur's seat is from the road beside the Loch. Top tip, if you want a good view but don't have as much time ( or energy) you can walk up Salisbury Crags instead. The path can be seen from our livingroom window and can be accessed by taking a stroll along to the park itself, near the parliament etc.
