Cobblers Cottage

Cobblers Cottage is an old cottage in the farming community of Sliddery overlooking the Mull of Kintyre in the Southwest of the Island of Arran. Originally it was the shoemakers cottage in the village, along with the blacksmith, butcher, joiners, bakers, grocers, post office and a school. These days Sliddery consists mostly of houses and farms with one hardware shop called Sliddery Supplies which stocks all sorts for homes, farms and gardens.

Tarsuinn, a charming and traditional cottage

Tarsuinn cottage is in an elevated location with spectacular views over the Shiskine valley surrounded by farmland. There is a small fenced garden to the side of the cottage with a bench in a very sunny spot. To the rear there is a farmyard belonging to the neighbouring farm, which is mostly a sheep farm and not too busy. Just a 5 minutes long walk away you can find the Bellevue farm and enjoy a guided tour and lots of animals, even Alpacas.
