Blue Heron Cottage is one of Smith Islands newest jewels. It is located on Rhodes Point, Md. After a 40 minute enjoyable ride on the ferry through the Tangier Sound, the captain will drop you off directly in front of the house. You can enjoy kayaking through the tributaries (we supply two kayaks with life vests), take in the breathtaking views of the sunsets, take a tour of a crab shanty, crab or fish off the dock, or order authentic Smith Island cake and/or meals to be delivered to your door.

Eleanor's Escape is an upstairs octagon-shaped bedroom that overlooks the down harbor featuring a queen size bed, and private en suite bath furnished in heirloom antiques in a full scale bed and breakfast complete with concierge service.. The room is surrounded by windows and features a unique view from each. Full breakfast (continental breakfast for guests departing at 7:30 AM) is served for all guests staying at the Inn.
