Old Shop Cabin started life as a shipping container but has been cleverly converted into a beautiful and relaxing place from which to enjoy the wonderful countryside of the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons, and Herefordshire's Golden Valley. The cabin is the perfect place to come for a spring getaway, it is totally self-contained, has ample off-road parking and also has its own completely private, south-facing garden with a tranquil view looking out onto the village church.

The cottage is adjacent to our house in the quiet village of Bredwardine. We are in an excellent position for site seeing, walking and cycling, our local hotel is well known for salmon and course fishing along with good food there's also a number of country inns who serve food within a 10 minute drive for those who prefer not to cook. The county town of Hereford is approximately 12 miles and the famous town of books Hay on Wye is 8 miles.

Our house is a rambling 18c farmhouse with commodious 19c additions in the heart of Herefordshire's Golden Valley. Our spare rooms comprise: a spacious oak-beamed double room (with super-king size bed) and adjoining twin-bedded room on the second floor, with a shared ensuite bathroom, ideal for a family or four close friends. Breakfast happens in our large sunny kitchen, including eggs laid by our own freerange hens.
