Please make note of the section “ Other things to note.”) Mabel’s Cabin is part of Twin Peaks’ properties located a block from shops and restaurants. It is a great place to kick your feet up and relax on the big front porch or make it your base camp to adventure to the Alpine Loop, hiking and fishing. Mabel’s Cabin has its own space with a front yard and parking located behind it.

Caboose Cottage in the heart of Lake City!

Enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. The rental is located behind a commercial space that houses the Lake Fork Valley Conservancy, an environmental non-profit organization, yet is very private. The river trail is located a half block away and the ice wall is just around the corner. Be sure to visit the Hinsdale County Museum next door to get a glimpse of Lake City's history, including a restored caboose that sits adjacent to the east deck of the home.
