Great view of the East and the South of the Island. Also and historic site
Breathtaking scenery, set in the grounds of the once regal Farley Hill house. A mansion in ruins, tucked away in a forest of mahogany trees, high up on a hill overlooking the rugged Atlantic coast.
This is a beautiful place to visit. Farley Hill is a National Park in St Peter on the site of Grenade Hall Plantation, established in the 17th Century. I have been here many times. You can simply just come for the day to chill and take in the amazing views of the East Coast. Take along a picnic and chill. There are picnic benches there. ***open 8.30am til 4.30pm tel. 258 3525 ***As its about a 45min/1hr drive away (depending on raffic)...Also note that across the road is also the Barbados Wildlife Reserve....so you could plan to do both tourist attractions in one day. Do Farley Hill morning and then go across to the Wildlife Reserve before 2pm to see the animals and especially the Green Monkeys being fed!!!! ***Also note, Farley Hill hosts the famous REGGAE FESTIVAL with amazing artists if you planning to come to Barbados April/May. I too have been to the festival and the show and artists simply amazing and if you here I would definitely recommend you to buy tickets n go and experience!!! :)

This park is set in the grounds of the once regal Farley Hill house. The mansion is now in ruins, and is surrounded by majestic mahogany trees, high up on a hill overlooking the rugged Atlantic coast. Many visit the park to picnic and to just relax and absorb the scenery. There is a small entrance fee to the park.
