The Basilica of San Vitale is a church in Ravenna, Italy, and one of the most important examples of early Christian Byzantine art and architecture in western Europe.
It is the burial place of some of the most illustrious Italians, such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli thus it is known also as the Temple of the Italian Glories
