The Dohány Street Synagogue (Hungarian: Dohány utcai zsinagóga/nagy zsinagóga, Hebrew: בית הכנסת הגדול של בודפשט‎ Bet ha-Knesset ha-Gadol shel Budapesht), also known as The Great Synagogue or Tabakgasse Synagogue, is a historical building in Erzsébetváros, the 7th district of Budapest, Hungary. It is the largest synagogue in Europe and one of the largest in the world.[1] It seats 3,000 people and is a centre of Neolog Judaism.

Visit the marvellous painted synagogue of the Orthodox Comunity in Budapest in Kazinczy utca , they let you in for 600 Huf every day except Friday and Saturday. Men should cover their head, take a hat with you. Women should wear modest clothing.
