Not many people seem to know about this place. It's free and open to the public, with walking trails, demonstration gardens, and a proper English-style fountain area with beautiful lawns for picnics, etc. Such a perfect place for a sunny day! Easily accessible by bike or car.

With a small pond, a creek, a wetland and a network of paths, picnics are a favorite family activity at this historic arboretum in Fairmount Park.
