Three words: spruce tip IPA. Yum! Such a quaint little brewery. They allow growler fills.
Dave and Mary Heller own this great craft brewery and chances are they will be the ones serving you when you visit. In 1794,Bedford, Pennsylvania was at the heart of the Whiskey Rebellion as President George Washington personally led thousands of soldiers into this town to put down tax protesting patriots in Western Pennsylvania. In keeping with the history of “Olde Bedford”, they were inspired to carry this historical theme into their brewery. Their beers are crafted with spring water and often hops that are grown on their own ranch, located in the mountains of Bedford County. They provide an eclectic and original style of beer for their customers. Olde Bedford Brewing Company is the FIRST, licensed brewery located in Bedford County since the county’s inception in 1771.
