Ponta da Ferraria is located off the western shore of Sao Miguel. Here you will find a natural hot spring that feels like a hot tub during low tide. It is quite the unique experience to take part of, and should definitely be added to any Azores itinerary.

In Mosteiros, on the north coast: here you can watch one of the most spectacular sunsets on the island. You can also enjoy a unique hot bath in the sea due to a termal source underneath the sea. It is best to go in when the tide is rising.

Beautiful place to have a hot bath on the springs in the natural pool of the ocean, or the man made pool (with hot ocean water) where you don't need to worry about the tides. On the natural pool, the tides are important due to when the tide is high, the water won't be as hot, and is a bit dangerous because of the waves entering the pool.
