Mehana Brewing Company AKA Hilo Brewing Company is the only brewery in Hilo on the East side of the island. Their beers are available at most stores on island and their brewery features a small tasting room. A worthy stop if you are in Hilo!

Food trucks are often here (check schedule) so this is a nice spot to enjoy a beer and get some food.

There are most of their beers on tap, or in bottles and there's a little store and Hoku and Liko are great at recommendations. Perfect stop for a cold one on the way to the beach.

Not really a bar but a tasting room.Tucked back in the industrial part of Hilo, in an unsuspecting warehouse is this little gem serving up samples of some delicious local craft beer. Worth a pitstop.
