one of the important archaeological sites in Athens, on a nice spot, well restored. You can also visit the archaeological museum
Brauron - Brauron was one of the twelve cities of ancient Attica, but never mentioned as a deme, though it continued to exist down to the latest times. It was situated on or near the eastern coast of Attica, between Steiria and Halae Araphenides, near the river Erasinus.
Remains of Artemis Temple since 800 B.C. are the key attraction. There is also a museum within the remises with multiple excavation findings. It is a 10min. drive from Porto-Rafti.
