Goethe Institute Nairobi (German Cultural Centre)

The Goethe Institute is a modern space that shows Kenyan art from sculpture to light installations. There’s a gallery, but also rooms for artists to work. It’s simple and clean inside to allow the art to speak for itself. There’s always an exhibition going on, showcasing different Kenyan artists. It’s worth checking the website before you go to see what’s on that week. Aside from the permanent exhibitions, they also host live music and other events regularly.
