The oldest tunnel in Netherlands, opened in 1941 during the occupation in an art deco style. It provides a quick link to the city centre by bike or foot.

Biking 20 meter under sea level from the north banks to the south banks? Take the Maastunnel, built 80 years ago. On your bike you have your own tube separated from that from pedestrians and cars.
