It opens up in mid-November and lasts until mid-March, and it’s a scenic atmosphere on the outskirts of the National Mall. It’s a small rink with wonderful ambience and a café to get hot cocoa overlooking it. Tickets sold in two-hour sessions beginning on the hour. If you aren’t prepared to begin skating at the top of the hour, you could end up waiting a while. This is especially true during crowded weekends.
