The Wick Heritage Museum is in the heart of the Pulteneytown area, close to the Harbour. It tells of, among other things, the history of the many aspects of life during the heyday of the herring fishing industry in Wick. Allow plenty of time for a fascinating visit.
Fabulous museum outlining Wick's past in most interesting way. wonderful for a wet day!
Wonderful museum in Wick which has some excellent displays are archives. Well worth a visit.
Definitely a must see in Wick! This is one of the most interesting places you will ever visit, Wick was at the forefront of the herring fishing era and considered the most important export harbour in Europe at the time. Our Heritage Centre tells the story and you can spend hours in here and not see half of what they have on display, the volunteers work all year round and are always adding to what they have so you can go back time and time again and learn all about the history of Wick.
