Cretans have been producing wine since the Minoan period, for more than 5.000 years. It's really worth visiting a winery once on Crete. Domaine Paterianakis is my favourite, because it's the unique winery which produces only organic, biological wines and natural wines.

Small family winery, with awards for their products, wine tasting, raki (traditional Cretan, alcohol strong drink) and organic cosmetics (outside of the city) Μικρό οικογενειακό οινοποιείο με βραβεία, καλό κρασί, ρακί (παραδοσιακό κρητικό ποτό) και βιολογικά καλλυντικά (έξω από την πόλη)
