Ryogoku Kokugikan is an indoor sporting arena and the venue for contests in Japan’s national sport, sumo. It seats over 10,000 visitors and hosts three of the six official sumo tournaments that take place nationwide each year (January, May, and September.) he multipurpose hall also serves as a venue for concerts and exhibitions.

'Ryōgoku Kokugikan' also known as Ryougoku Sumo Hall, is an indoor sporting arena located in the Yokoami neighborhood of Sumida, one of the 23 wards of Tokyo in Japan, next to the Edo-Tokyo Museum.
