One of the prettiest locations nearby to discover is the Krka National Park where you can enjoy calming nature and breathtaking sceneries. Once you reach the biggest waterfall called Skradinski Buk, you will realize the power, the energy and the force of the nature and water cascades. Skradinski Buk is the longest travertine barrier on the Krka river. All along the waterfall there are plenty of wooden bridges and forest paths leading you to fabulous and unforgettable waterfall perspectives… This circular trail around the waterfalls is about 2 kilometers long and it takes about an hour and a half to cross it. It includes enough time to learn some facts about the natural, cultural and historical heritage through educational panels provided along the trail. The ethno-collection, the remains of the Krka hydropower plant, the weaving workshop, the old mill… are just couple of things which will take you to ancient times… priceless! In the nearby area you can find family farms offering indigenous products like homemade prosciutto and cheese and local wine tasting. For those who want find refreshement during the warm summer days, we suggest visiting picturesque village Primošten which offers nice beach and crystal clear sea. You can take a boat trip or go by car and walk in beautiful nature. Swimming is allowed in secured part of river

Most beautiful combination of History and nature. This is only region in Croatia with 2 National parks- beautiful Krka waterfalls and Kornati archipelago with its most navigable saling route. I can help organize trips since I am tour guide.

Beautiful nature with waterfalls, like Plitvice but smaller, only 1h drive from Split. This is more of a half-day tour, but you can include visiting Šibenik or Primošten which are both close.
