Bac de Sors beach (municipality of Alles-sur-Dordogne) is located on the left bank of the Dordogne, opposite the village of Limeuil . It is one of the nicest beaches in the region, but beware, its size is small and it can quickly fill up in summer. You put your towel in the sun or in the shade, on the lawn on a sort of little hill overlooking the Dordogne. From the beach the view is magnificent over imposing limestone cliffs . There are shaded places all along the path that runs along the beach. There is little current at this part of the river, the descent into the water is gradual. In summer, there is a snack truck for refueling.
