We love a good general store and the keweenaw is full of these little, unpretentious, authentic local shops. The Genny is one of our favorites

The owner, Stacey, is turning Copper Harbor's tiny store into a legit one-shop stop. While her inventory is limited, you can find fishing supplies, food, basic outdoor gear, great spirits and alcohol. When possible, she sources from local producers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she encourages calling ahead to place an order, although there still is in-person, masked shopping. She delivers to Eagle Harbor once a week.
