Ampfield Golf Club was founded in the early 1960’s and was the original 18 Hole Par 3 Course in the Country. The Course was designed by three times major winner, Sir Henry Cotton, one of the legendary golfers of his era. We are one of the most beautiful and enjoyable, privately owned, short courses in the Country. “Voted 4th Best 18 Hole Par 3 Course in the Country – Today’s Golfer” We offer the ideal place to improve your short game, to learn how to play or simply enjoy a great day out with friends. Our unique course is sure to test even the most advanced golfer. There is no doubt that we are now one of the finest 18 Hole Par 3 Courses in England and also one of the longest at 2314 yards – our longest hole being 181 yards. Our course is kept in fantastic condition and, since coming under new ownership several years ago, has seen impressive and vast course improvements, all adding to your golfing enjoyment. We are proud hosts of the Annual Hampshire PGA Short Course Championship, held in August. This event sees Professional golfers from Hampshire, The Isle of Wight and The Channel Islands compete for the short course title.
