Head into the hills northeast of Coeur D’Alene in the late summer months and you will find huckleberries. Enjoy your pickings baked into a huckleberry cobbler served with vanilla ice cream.

One of my very favorite hikes. 45 minutes drive to the. 4 mile hike with 1500’ elevation gain. Gorgeous views of mountains and Lake Pend Oreille.
