Percival’s Island offers a beautiful river view from its main bridge. It connects to Blackwater Creek trail making it a perfect spot for a long walk, run, or bike ride. The Virginia LOVE sign is also located here so it’s a perfect spot for pictures! Just a short walk from the downtown Lynchburg Bluffwalk.

Percival's Island features a great, paved (and flat) biking/walking trail.

A great trail to rent bikes or walk on, this a beautiful way to spend a few hours in the area. The relative flatness of the trail is helpful if you have younger kids or prefer an easier journey. It's also close to many downtown dining areas!
