The Rose Revived pub at Newbridge and the Maybush across the road are a nice day out for families. You can hire paddle boats and go punting, but for those not wanting to take part both pubs have lovely gardens. There's a great circular walk along the Thames and back reached through the garden of the Rose Revived. You can cross over the river and walk back along the other side.
