Lots of parking at the trail head. A 2-mile wide old tramway starts you off with nice views of both mountains and down to the casino town of Black Hawk. Gentle enough incline for all abilities. For more of a challenge take the new hiking only trail up to the peak, or ride the bike single tracks and fly down the dedicated exciting technical downhill bike only trails.

A Mountain Biker's paradise, this network of challenging bike trails weaving through historic mines and former railway grades also has a gentle path perfect for families with a rewarding view of Black Hawk in the valley below. I recommend checking Mtbproject.com to familiarize yourself with current trail difficulty and conditions.
